Climate change can seem overwhelming. Sometimes it feels hopeless. But believing in climate change is not enough.
We didn’t get here overnight, and we won’t solve the climate change crisis with the same thinking that got us into this situation in the first place.
We need to work together to build resilience, to support each other, and to transform our world into something better. A world that still has natural beauty and wild spaces. A world where people are not hungry or homeless or desperate.
We can do this if we each make changes in our lives that support that vision of a better future.
Small changes matter. Did you know it only takes three chickens (hens) to make a dozen eggs a week that could feed someone hungry? Just three chickens.
Those same three chickens can eat 270 lbs of food waste each year to make those eggs. It’s a win-win-win: local food, reduced carbon footprints, reduced food waste.
Three Chickens Strong is a blog about finding those small changes each of us can make (or support) . . . . small actions that lead to lasting change and resilience.
There is something you can do, right now, to make a difference.
Let’s figure out what that is together, and then get started.
