Periodically we will post straight run chicks for sale.   Straight-run means both cockerels and pullets are in the group.  It can take as long as 10 to 12 weeks, and sometimes even longer, to correctly determine the sex of some of the chicken breeds we carry.  As a result, we cannot guarantee pullets only at this time.

It takes 21 days to hatch chicks, and usually an additional one to two days before the chicks are moved from the incubator to the brooder.  Custom orders of chicks can be picked up at stage once the chicks are moved to the brooder.  The cost of the chicks reflects the time and effort required to reach specific ages.   Specific colors and sexes cannot be guaranteed in a custom hatch.  Our maximum capacity is currently 42 eggs.
