The splash is a double recessive gene from the Blue-Black-Splash trait found in several types of chickens.  He will provide blue egg genes to your flock.

Bred to other Americanas, the pullets will all lay blue eggs.

Splash roo x Blue hen = 50% splash and 50% blue chicks
